Emerging Leaders Program – Emergency Management for Event Planners

Speaker– Michael Gipson, Henry V Events and formerly the United States Air Force

Event planners will be leave with some additional knowledge to apply to their event planning that would minimize risks and keep people safe within their events as well as help create events that both minimize the threat of disaster and help with the response of one if one occurs.

Michael spent 6 years in the United States Air Force as a Command Center Controller at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo Japan. Michael holds over 10 certifications from FEMA and will complete his bachelor’s in Emergency Management this year.
